*Randy Cameron's father passed away - please pray for him and his family during this time of loss. Pray especially for Randy as he will be preaching at the memorial service.
*Matt Tabler - He has been sick since last Friday and Gail and Frank found out yesterday that it is a pretty significant pneumonia. They will be going back to the Dr. again today. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors and a quick recovery.
*Pray for our Senior High youth as they are in New York City on a mission trip.
*Jessica Osborne - she is currently praying about staying a 3rd year in Russia as a journeyman. Pray for her as she seeks God's will and for her parents as they support her during this time of decision.
*Continue to pray for Katie Butler. Here is an update from Julie: "I talked to her this morning (7-5-09). She is doing great. They just got back yesterday from the small village out in the middle of nowhere. She was guessing the village had 100-200 people in it and only those that travel for business out of the area are bilingual. (Mandarin and their own language) This people group has only had 5 people study their language...ever. SIL is working on getting a literacy program in place that has been very successful in other villages. The goal is to have the kids be proficient in their own language and Mandarin by the time they get to HS age. This is done w/ government funding. And then the other opportunities happen. They head out in the morning again for another village that is only about 4 hours away on a bus. Thanks so much for praying for her."
*Lesa Macias - pray for her as she seeks an opportunity to share Christ with her neighbor
*Colton Steen - pray for him and his family as he is at the Air Force Academy in basic training
*Pray for the congregation at Whitehall Central Baptist. Their pastor passed away recently. This is the church that Laynette and Rusty Riley attended previously.
*LaDonna Sauerbry - pray for her 2 brothers who work OOT - pray for their health and safety during this heat. Also pray for her great nephew, Brody. He is 2 years old and was diagnosed this week with a learning disability.
*Please pray for Cheryl Wells, Sarah Burton and Teresa Bowlan who will be in the Ukraine for one more week, sharing the gospel through English classes.
*Deborah Daniel: her lab results were high this month. Pray that lifestyle changes will be made to get labs back under control.
*Jerry Daniel: his labs are good but he is having problems with knee and leg pain
*Pray for a harvest of vegetables and also a harvest of souls this summer
*Safe travel on the roadways and waterways during the vacation season
*Pray for the Daniel's witness to Matt and Jason

Have a great week!

*From Donita Moore:
my Mother was put into the hospital late Monday. Daddy took her to the doctor for her appointment and her lab work was so bad they sent her to the hospital. Her blood count was very low and she has had two transfusions already. She does not feel well at all. Please lift her up in prayer. She is in room 612 at Mercy. Also my Daddy he is in his late 70's and having to do deal with so much himself, taking care of Mom and the farm and driving back and forth from Gateway to the hospital is very tiring for him. We need strong prayers to lift Mother up and keep Daddy strong.

Thank you from the Colberts

Thank you
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
Tony and I would just like to thank you all for your help in moving and setting up our new house. We don’t know what we would have done without you. The food was wonderful and gave us a couple of nights that we didn’t have to think about what to eat.
In the last few weeks we have had a lot of things happen in our family and friends and co workers have asked how we are surviving and dealing with everything. Some have seemed shocked when we say we are ok and that we will be fine. We gave it all to God and asked him to take care of what we needed. I won’t say we weren’t scared but we also know that God will always take care of things and sometimes we have to hit a hard bump to wake up and listen to him.
FBC and this Sunday school class have been nothing but a blessing in our lives and we should have listened to our friends a long time ago about coming. Thank you again for all of your love and support that you have shown us through this trying time. We will be back on the 28 to see all of you, but wanted you to know how much we appreciate everything you have done and the prayers that have went up for our family.
All our love,
Tony, Beth, Justin, Cassidy, Ben and Brenley Colbert and Grandma Bobbie
